AAPA and VicRoads have formed a Strategic Alliance Agreement (SAA) to formalise a non-exclusive framework of cooperation and to facilitate collaboration between the organisations to promote programs and projects that will benefit Victoria. The focus of cooperation between the parties include:
commitment to work in collaboration to continually improve the safety of our people, delivering projects on Victoria’s road network
development and implementation of flexible pavements innovation to the benefit of Victoria, driving:
cost savings
improved quality
environmental sustainability; and
improved long-term performance of the road network.
working in collaboration to adopt and adapt international best practice where appropriate
collaboratively enhancing the capability of the industry across both government and industry through targeted training and education programs
supporting development of a sustainable industry to support the reliable delivery of works on the Victorian road and transport network
