- Be Bitumen Safe: 3 years

Your current RMS workers on foot certificate with an AAPA or AFPA logo is valid for 5 years from date of issue. You do not need another certificate with a number. We are not permitted to tamper with original certificates and workplaces are obliged to accept this certificate as proof of completion. The validity of the certificate can be cross checked on the AfPA website: : Achievements - Australian Flexible Pavement Association (afpa.asn.au) by checking the certificate holders name: First Name – Last Name

How do I reset my password in QIN CodeSafe?
We are unable to reset passwords for QIN CodeSafe.

It can take up to 48 hours to be updated on the page when a course is completed.
You are able to pay and register on our website under the education tab: Course Registration - Australian Flexible Pavement Association (afpa.asn.au)
- On the first page select how many tickets you require (1).
- In the “Events Registration” section fill in your details (this ensures that you receive the invoice and receipt)
- Click on the next button at the bottom of the page
- On the next page ensure that the auto filled details are correct/or fill in your details
- Click save and next.
When you have done this you will be taken to the payment page.

PLEASE NOTE: you can register up to 20 people on some courses – if you have more than 20 you will need to register twice - In the “Event Registration” section fill in your details (this ensures that you receive the invoice and receipt)
- Unclick the “I Will Be Attending” section
- Click on the next button at the bottom of the page
- On the next page fill in your workers’/clients’ details
- PLEASE ENSURE THAT YOU USE A UNIQUE EMAIL ADDRESS RELATED TO EACH PERSON (PERSONAL OR WORK EMAIL)
- Click save and next
- Continue to enter each persons details - click save and next after each person
When you have done this you will be taken to the payment page.
If there is an issue when you try to register or pay, please shut down the browser completely and try again.
If this does not work you may need to restart your computer or try opening your browser incognito (please google how to do this).
Error message - invitation token not valid
This usually happens as the username is not unique so there is someone else with your first and last name already in the system. The system automatically creates a username e.g. Tom.Brown.
To resolve this put a number after the first or last name e.g. 1Tom.Brown
Error message - You do not have access to the page
This error message usually indicates that you are possibly clicking on Join AfPA from an old invitation. Check that you are using the link in the latest email from enquires@qinworld.net.
Error message - You do not have permission to do the course
This usually means that you have not accepted the invitation. Please go back to the email from h
See your email for instructions.
On the fist page of the registration form select how many tickets and add all your details to the first page – this ensures that you get the receipt and invoice.
On the second page add the workers details - this ensures they get the link for training.
The original Tax invoice had been automatically emailed to the person registering. To get the tax invoice please contact the person who registered the event with AfPA. Under privacy laws we are unable to provide this information to a different person who purchased.
The email will be sent from: messaging-service@post.xero.com. If they cannot find the email in their inbox please ask them to check their spam/junk folder.
After you have paid/registered you (or the person/persons’ you registered) will receive an email from enquires@qinworld.net. with instructions. You will need to create a password and accept the invitation.
PLEASE NOTE: IT CAN TAKE UP TO 20 MINUTES FOR THE INVITATION TO SHOW UP IN YOUR INBOX
It can take up to 20 minutes after purchase for the email to appear. Please check your spam folder if not located in the inbox. The email will be coming from enquires@qinworld.net.
If you have not received the email it could be that your server is blocking the email.
How To Unblock Senders In Outlook
- Open the desktop email app.
- Go to the Home tab.
- Select Junk → Junk E-mail Options.
- Click the Blocked Senders tab.
The email sent from enquires@qinworld.net has instruction on what to do. Please follow the instructions on the email.
Accepting from a phone:
- Download the app (do not create a profile)
- Go back to email and click on Join AfPA
- A page with your information will appear and you will need to add a password and accept the invitation
- Your course will be available for you to complete
Accepting from a laptop/other device:
- Go to email and click on Join AfPA
- A page with your information will appear and you will need to add a password and accept the invitation

You have 60 days to accept the invitation before it expires.
When completing by phone or laptop/other device you should see the below sign up page. Your details are automatically filled in (example below has no details – this is just an example to show what the page looks like) and you will need to create a password and click the I accept the QIN CodeSafe box.

If you have already downloaded the app & created a profile, you should still be able to go back to the email with directions and click the link Join AfPA to accept the invitation, where one of three things will happen:
- If you are logged in already, you can accept the invitation straight away.
- If you have signed up to QIN but are not logged in, you will be prompted to log in and create a password then accept the invitation
- If you have not signed up to QIN yet, you will be prompted to log in and create a password then accept the invitation
If the above does not work
Phone:
- Remove the QIN app from your phone
- Reinstall the app - do not sign up
- Go back to the email and follow the steps after installing the app
Laptop/computer:
- Close QIN completely
- Go back to the email and click on Join AfPA this will open QIN CodeSafe in your browser
Certificates – where to find them for online courses
If you have completed a course prior to mid 2022:
- Login to the AfPA website: AfPA - Australian Flexible Pavement Association
- Go to the EDUCATION tab and select MY EDUCATION and you will see your certificates on the left hand side. You will be able to open it and save or print.
If you have completed a course after mid 2022:
Sign in to the QIN Codesafe app: QIN - Quality Information Now | CodeSafe Solutions
NOTE: If you delete the app – you will not be able to find the certificate/BADGE. The app holds all badges for courses completed (now and in the future). REINSTALL THE APP AND SIGN IN.
If you have completed the course on the phone:
- go to profile at the bottom of your screen
- click on badges
- You can open the badge and share or save
On a lap top/other device
- Go to the home page
- At the top – open badges
- Click on view and print or download as a pdf text
NOTE: Certificates are no longer awarded or sent to you. Badges have replaced certificates
Do I get a physical card/ certificate sent to me
No, you don't receive a physical certificate/card in post. The digital badge which acts as the certificate can be found under badge of QIN app on your mobile or on web as above.
We are unable to offer an invoicing option for the education/training or events on our website. We require payment prior to course commencement or event attendance so only credit cards will be accepted.
