AAPA Welcomes John Ralph as new SA Branch Chairman

It’s my pleasure to announce that Mr John Ralph, Boral State Manager Asphalt SA, yesterday took over the role of AAPA State Branch Chairman from the retiring, Klinton Devenish.

We thank Klinton for his great service seeing the Branch transform its relationship with the State Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure over the past few years.

The AAPA SA State Branch is entering a very exciting time of innovation and change in the roads pavement space with the implementation of smart road technology that allows next generation smart (driverless) cars to communicate with the road surface. Pavement types like EME2, Thinlays, SMA’s and local road surfacing solutions will put SA at the head of the pack in delivery of better value solutions for the community’s greatest asset – our road network.

I look forward to working with John as we forge an exciting new future for South Australia’s road network.
