Julie is the Deputy Director-General, Infrastructure Management and Delivery. In this role, she manages the state controlled road transport system in Queensland, and ensures the investment across road, public transport, active transport, and freight networks ($27.5 billion over four years) is delivered as part of a single integrated transport network.
Julie is a respected leader with more than 35 years of experience in policy, planning, design, business case, delivery, and asset management of large complex transport infrastructure. She is a member of the executive leadership team at TMR and has extensive experience in strategic organisational and technical leadership and development, significant organisational change agendas on customer focus, efficiency, staff empowerment, reducing infrastructure costs, and technical innovation.
Julie is passionate about collaborating with industry partners, developing people and leadership capability, as well as exploring new ideas.
She is dedicated to providing infrastructure and services that connect people, places, goods, and services safely, efficiently, and effectively across Queensland.
