•  What do I need to attend the online Symposium?
    To attend the online Symposium, you need a good internet connection, your device or computer, and a valid registration.
  • What would be available to me as attendee?
    Access all presentations and sessions.
    Participate in live Q&As during the recorded sessions.
  • Can I download the slides from the sessions?
    No, the slides from the presentations cannot be downloaded separately, but you will be able to access the oral presentations of the presenters afterwards, which include the slides.
  • I am a presenter/speaker at the event, what should I do?
    We will contact you directly regarding your participation in the programme.
  • Will the sessions be interactive?
    Some sessions will be live, and some will be pre-recorded, but every session includes a live Q&A part.
  • When will I receive login instructions?
    You will receive login details a few days prior to the event.
  • What time zone are the sessions shown?
    All session times are in Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)
  • If I want to watch 2 sessions that are streaming simultaneously, can I go back and view one of them later?
    Recorded presentations will be made available to all attendees at the conclusion of the symposium
  • Who do I contact for technical help?

  • How do I interact through the session chair?
    Each session will have a dedicated chair who will relay your content related questions and comments to the presenter(s) and the audience.
    The session chair will introduce herself/himself to the virtual audience at the beginning of the session using the chat feature on the streaming site. If you have a question or comment, write it in the chat window.
  • Corporate Virtual package: how does it work?
    Companies wishing to enquire about or to purchase a corporate package for all of their employees are encouraged to make contact with tanja.conners@afpa.asn.au
  • Do I need to register if my company has registered?
    ONCE your org has registered and provided your details you will receive an email advising the next steps required to access the Symposium platform
  • When will I be charged for the registration?
    All regos are being checked to see if the Organisation Wide option has been picked, that is to prevent double billing.  Invoices/billing procedures will follow that.
