As concern for the climate change continues to increase, it is important to identify and implement alternative and more sustainable solutions. Although bitumen is considered the best material to build roads, its carbon footprint is very high and therefore the need for sustainable options has never been more urgent.

Following the AfPA conference and the presentations shared on lower carbon binder options this industry event aims to further explore what benefits can be achieved in our journey towards industry decarbonisation. Bitumen suppliers will share their R&D, new products available and any demonstration projects that have been conducted in Australia. The event will provide an opportunity to share and discuss the carbon reduction that can be achieved by using the new generation binders and potentially turn the roads into carbon sink without compromising the quality or durability.
